StackingStacking is very tempting and a practice that seems to be guaranteeing success. At first sight that is so: Work for one and get two cheques! Should You or Shouldn't You? Let's first look at a normally developing organization. To simplify things, we are going to use a multiplication of 5. You know: You sponsor five partners who then in turn sponsor an other five etc. This is theory, we all know that, the real world works chaotic, but on average a well trained and supported organization can well grow this way:
Looks great? You bet! Mind you, to build an orgnization with over 19'000 (Ninteen Thousand!) partners takes more than a few weeks. Also we know all, that in the real world, things don't develop that evenly. But even if you have a thinned out organization and eventually end up with 5 to 6'000, you are doing a good job! Now let's look at the model where people stack to get two cheques: The effect of stacking on your organization and earning potential as well as for your downline is dramatic and very negative! People sometimes stack, because they don't fully understand the impact. And once it starts, it's duplicated. After all, isn't this business about duplication? Only, the good and the bad gets duplicated equally well, and sometimes the bad a lot easier.... Let's take again a mulitiplication of 5. But this time, when someone signs into the company they stack, i.e, they sign their spouse directly underneath them, with the intention of building under the spouse and drawing two checks. Now duplication sets in: Because your people will want to do what you do, they now do exactly the same. Please note: We are talking about introducing a "passive" partner into the organization, who comes along for the "free" (at least that is what they presume it is) ride. If you sponsor a relative and he builds his own independent group, whilst you build yours, there is nothing wrong. To make comparing the two situations easy, they are shown side by side:
Which type of organization would you rather build? Which organization has the greater potential for financial success for you and your group? Show this simple calculation to all your new partners. when you stack, you loose! (Exception: Binaries - I personally am not a fan of these anyhow). If the MLM company you work for allows couples to have two businesses, sponsor your spouse to have her/his own business - but then you are obliged to work both businesses. If you only sign up your partner to collect two cheques, then you better forget about it. It's a loosing proposition: One cheque for 19'000 people is bound to be higher than two cheques for only 200 people each!
